Some Typical Installations from SiteKioskNZ
Here at SiteWiFi our experienced installers excel at 'getting it right'. We will taylor design the right installation for your site. Here are a few examples.
The Coffee Shop
Enabling WiFi coverage in a single lounge or cafe area is a relatively simple task and is usually an installation that site owners can perform themselves. Plug in the Internet cable, plug in the power cable and promote!
Holiday Parks
Holiday parks come in all shapes and sizes. Ohiwa Holiday Park on the Eastern Bay of Plenty coast was a particularly interesting L-shaped site with a large hill blocking signal to the far reaches of the site. The installation also required 2 Internet kiosks in a guest lounge that we could not physically run a cable. We easily adapted our system to provide the perfect solution. We used 2 high powered WiFi repeaters to ensure great coverage and ran our coin operated kiosks wirelessly, through the same WiFi system. So credit cards for laptops, coins for our kiosks and no fuss for the reception staff. Here is the solution >>
Hotels
Hotels provide their own set of issues. Nothing limits the range of a single hotspot, no matter how powerful, like walls of concrete and steel. In interior installations, we assess the capability of combining wired as well as wireless media to ensure that Internet reaches all guest rooms. Whether it's a series of wireless repeaters installed throughout the hotel or a combination of wired room access and wireless conference room facilities, we'll custom tailor the system to suit your site. Our system does also meter Internet access via wired connections, as well as wireless, all through the same box.
Motels
Motel installations tend to be quite straight-forward. A single high powered access point installed in a carefully chosen location will usually suffice for the average sized motel. Lower powered WiFi repeaters can be located, tidily in roof spaces and maintenance cupboards to help extend the coverage in cover any areas with otherwise weak reception.
